Bill Chang
I am a Pediatric Oncologist who specializes in the care of children, adolescents, and young adults with hematologic malignancies at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital at Oregon Health and Science University. This includes providing care for patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. I am trained as a Physician-Scientist with broad research interests that include basic science research interrogating the underlying molecular mechanisms that drive the growth of cancer cells, translational research understanding individual cancers and the potential of targeting individual cancers, and early clinical trials testing the potential of targeting these identified pathways to improve patient care.
