Margaret MacMillan
I am Professor in Pediatrics and Director of the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Division at the University of Minnesota. My research interests focus on optimizing the care for patients with Fanconi anemia from diagnosis, through hematopoietic cell transplantation and thereafter for life. Over the past 25 years, I have focused on the development and implementation of novel strategies to optimize cellular therapies for patients with Fanconi anemia. My research is equally focused on the development and implementation of novel strategies to prevent and treat acute GVHD, and in the optimization of acute GVHD clinical trial design by determining GVHD risk and best trial endpoints.
